Welcome to my About Me section, where you can get to know me a bit better. I didn't really know how to set this out so I've decided to do it in a Q&A style, hope you like it!
Who inspired your discovery of make-up?
I don't think anyone inspired me in particular, it was just something every teenage girl stumbles across!
What is your first makeup memory?
I think it would have to be begging mum to put a bit of mascara or lipstick on for me as she did hers in the morning. I was probably about 10 or 11.
What was your biggest makeup faux pas?
I used to wear the most horrendous colour foundation, it was so orange, I must've looked hilarious. And turquoise glittery Barry M dazzle dust, thats a classic. Although I do have a friend who used to wear bright pink eye shadow to school, you know who you are!
Which look do you wish you invented?
Smokey eye! So many people spend forever trying to get it perfect.
What is your definition of beauty?
This is pretty deep! I don't think there is one? As long as you feel confident then that's all that matters. And happy, if someone looks happy then it changes the way they look completely.
What is one of your dirty little makeup secrets?
As in bad?
I forget to take my makeup off on a regular basis. I always fall asleep or am too lazy. Luckily I don't pay for it that badly... yet!
Why did you name your blog, that name?
Because it's my name. I wanted something quite cute but not too cringey! And not too specific to one field ie. fashion, makeup, hair...
How many monthly subscription services to you belong?
I don't belong to any yet, trying to save my pennies.
If you could only film or only write, which one would you choose and why?
Probably write. I don't really film a lot because my camera and editing software aren't up to scratch otherwise I would. Plus I love writing and always have.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a new blogger?
I am a new blogger, so my advice won't be the best! But from my experience, just dont give up. Be consistent with your posts (practice what you preach, Grace) and people will start to follow you regularly. Also, network with other similar bloggers, you can all help eachother!
What is the one piece of advice you are grateful someone shared with you?
It's not really advice, but people always say just ignore anyone who says negative things. I don't mind constructive criticism about my blog but some people are just spiteful and theres no need for it. So yeah, just to rise above it and try to not let it get to you.
What do you think is your best physical feature?
That's a horrible question! Umm. I quite like my hands?
What do you like most about your personality?
I think I've got quite a good sense of humour. Like, I can laugh at a lot. And I find the tiniest things hilarious.
Do you have any funny nicknames?
My mum calls me Gracelet and Flossie. Some of my friends call me Dave sometimes. Otherwise just Gracie.
What is your favorite nail polish color and/or eye shadow to wear?
Nail Polish is ever changing. At the moment Essie Fiji or just a nice coral/pink shade. Eyeshadow would be Quarry by MAC it's like a taupe, grey, lilac colour and I'm wearing it everyday at the moment.
If you could have a different accent, which one would you like to have?
I quite like my accent. But I'd love an Irish accent.

If you had the chance to create your very own nail polish color for a company, what would it look like and what would you name it?
It'd probably be a nice matte nude colour or a completely OTT sparkly pink one! God knows what I'd call it, probably something to do with Grace, it's such a handy name for stuff like that.
What is your all time favorite movie?
Difficult! Ummm, probably either Con Air or Notting Hill.
What are you wearing on your nails this very second?
I've got the Jessica Geleration Manicure at the moment (loving it) and the colour I chose is like a nice aqua, summery blue.
